2. These terms
These terms apply to every order placed on amorconstruc.shop. They are written for consumers buying for their own use. Please read them, together with our Shipping & delivery, Returns & refunds and Privacy policy pages, before you order. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
3. Products and descriptions
We describe each product as accurately as we can, using the supplier's specification for material, size, capacity and load. Natural materials such as terracotta, bamboo and ash wood vary in colour and grain. Load figures are the supplier's and apply only under the condition stated with them; they are not a safety rating. Plants and soil in photographs are styling only and are not included.
4. Prices and currency
Prices are shown in the currency you choose (US dollars, euros, pounds sterling or Canadian dollars), with the currency code beside each price. Prices in currencies other than US dollars are set by us from our US dollar prices at a fixed rate. The price and delivery charge shown at checkout are the amounts you pay us. Prices do not include import duties, taxes or courier fees charged by your country; these are payable by you to the carrier.
If we make an obvious pricing error, we will tell you and give you the choice of continuing at the correct price or cancelling for a full refund.
5. How the contract is made
When you place an order you make an offer to buy. We send an email to confirm we have received it; this is not yet acceptance. The contract is made when we email you to confirm your order has been dispatched. If we cannot accept your order (for example because an item is unavailable or we cannot deliver to your address), we tell you and do not charge you, or refund you in full if payment has been taken.
6. Payment
Payment is taken when you place your order, using one of the payment options shown at checkout. See Payment.
7. Delivery
We deliver to the address you give us. Orders are dispatched by our supplier partners, normally within 1–3 business days, and typical delivery times by region are on Shipping & delivery. If we are delayed by events outside our control, we will tell you and you may cancel for a full refund if the delay is significant. If delivery has not happened within 30 days of the contract, you may cancel and we will refund you in full.
The goods are your responsibility from the time they are delivered to you or to someone you name. You own the goods once we have received full payment.
8. Your right to cancel
You may cancel the contract within 14 days of the day after you receive the goods, without giving a reason. How to cancel, what we refund and who pays for returns are set out on Returns & refunds and Cancel an order. In addition, we accept returns of unused items for 30 days after delivery.
9. Faulty goods
We are under a legal duty to supply goods that match their description, are of satisfactory quality and are fit for purpose. If they are not, you have legal rights, including repair, replacement or refund. Tell us as soon as you can at support@amorconstruc.shop.
10. Our responsibility to you
If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our negligence. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses (these products are sold for domestic use), or for loss caused by using a product against its instructions, beyond a stated load, or fixed to an unsound surface. We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law, including your rights under consumer protection law.
11. Complaints and disputes
Please contact us first; we acknowledge complaints within 2 business days and aim to resolve them within 14 days. If we cannot resolve a dispute, you may use the courts or an alternative dispute resolution service available in your country.
12. Law and courts
These terms are governed by Scots law. You may bring proceedings in the courts of Scotland. If you live in England, Wales or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you live in the European Union or elsewhere, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the law of the country where you live, and may bring proceedings there.
13. Other terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the version on the site when you order applies to that order. If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest continue to apply. The English version of these terms is the binding version.
